Racial inequity isn’t any problem.
It's our problem.
But together we can solve it.

About REEM GVL

We develop strategies and partnerships that eradicate race-based disparities and inequities impacting Black communities in Greenville County—and that benefit us all.

Think.

Do.

Learn.

Transform.

Conventional thinking won’t solve complex problems like racial inequity — but systems thinking can. We address deeper, less obvious barriers that drive racial disparities among Black communities in Greenville County because we know that when we uplift these communities, our whole community becomes stronger and better for everyone.

Systems thinking might sound like a complicated idea, but it’s really about recognizing a bigger picture. Just like a fish doesn’t realize it’s swimming in water because the water has always been there, we often don’t notice the barriers getting in the way of our collective prosperity, like policy choices and everyday practices that unfairly (and sometimes unintentionally) reinforce disparities.

Tackling
